New Lessons

13th October, 2013

Today was a day of running around frantically, compiling data, letting your fingers dance on the keyboard and reading and rereading the report and PPT presentation of our work in the village.

In the evening, I decided to get away from the madness and go for a walk. In the middle of the market, I saw a really fat goat kept on display with a price tag of Rs. 1000. Now this was really surprising as I had learnt that goats costs way more than that.

In the night, I asked Kaki and she told me, blushing, the goat was kept for mating. Male goats, especially the good breeds, are kept in the market so that people can examine them and later borrow them for mating with the female goats, she explained.
