Today, we stayed in the NGO to finish data compilation and started work on our NGO reports. Our faculty supervisor also paid us a visit and we had a meeting with him. We talked about the various things we observed during our village stay and discussed the concept of development.

We also talked about the education system and
pondered on a few points.
What if every person in India becomes a graduate? Can
our country generate enough jobs for these people. Say, every person in India
gets a corporate job; then who will work in the agriculture sector or do manual
work? And because we want someone around to do manual work, should we reprieve
people of the opportunity to study? Or should we as a country, instill in our
children the value of dignity of labour so that a person with a college degree,
is not ashamed to work in the fields.
